About the Tour

Day 1

Best of Croatia tour starts in Zagreb, Croatia’s capital city. Your local guide will show you the old town and its main attractions. For example Dolac market, St. Mark church, Cathedral, Parliament, Ban Jelačić square and many others. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 2

In the morning we will drive to our first stop on the Adriatic coast-Opatija. You will have some free time to explore the city yourself or to relax at the luxurious hotel where we will spend the night.

Day 3

Our daily trip starts with the trip to the Istrian peninsula. We will visit Pula and its famous amphitheater from the Roman period. Later, we will visit the beautiful coastal town-Rovinj. In the evening we will return to Opatija for our second night there.

Day 4

First, we will visit Plitvice Lakes, one of the most beautiful and famous Croatia’s National Parks. Later, we will continue our tour to Dalmatia. Our first stop is Zadar with its many attractions such as Sea Organs and the Salutation to the Sun. We will also see churches of St.Anastasia and St.Donatus and the old Roman Forum. We will spend our first night in Dalmatia here.

Day 5

In the morning we will drive to Trogir, a coastal town with many renaissance buildings and charming, little streets from the ancient Greek period. Not far from Trogir is Split, an old town from the ancient Roman period where emperor Diocletian built his beautiful palace. Tour of the city will take us through Golden Gate and into Jupiter’s Temple. In the end, we will spend the night in Split.

Day 6

Our first destination of the day is Dubrovnik, a beautiful coastal town widely popular among tourists. We will explore the Old Town together with its City Walls. Later, you will have a chance to enjoy the view of Dubrovnik at night. We will spend the night in Dubrovnik.

Day 7

On the morning of our 7th day, we will take a ferry to the beautiful island of Hvar. We will explore the old town Hvar and spend the night there.

Day 8

Our last stop in Dalmatia is Šibenik, the youngest of all Dalmatian towns. It was built in the 8th century in the time of Croatian kings. In the evening we will return to Zagreb and spend our last night there.

Day 9

In the morning you will be transferred to the Zagreb airport and that’s where our Best of Croatia tour ends.
