Upon your arrival at Vienna airport, you will meet your private guide for From Vienna to Venice tour who will take you to the Hotel where you will have some free time. Later, we will explore the old town. In the end, overnight in Vienna.
In the morning, we will have a tour of Vienna, the capital city of Austria. You will have a chance to see the most famous sites in Vienna. For example, Imperial court Hofburg, St.Stephens cathedral, and Graben street that will take us to Opera. In the afternoon, you will have a chance to visit Schonbrunn Palace built by Maria Teresia or to try some local foods. We recommend Vienesse Melange with apple pie, Sacher Torte or Guglhupf in old Vienna Kaffehaus. We will spend our second night in Vienna.
Our first stop of the day is Melk where we will see a huge Benedictine abbey. Then, we will head to Salzburg, a town where Mozart was born. There, we will explore astonishing Mirabell gardens, Mozarteum, Marktplatz, and a huge citadel. In the end, overnight in Salzburg.
In the morning, we will visit the Salzkammergut area to see beautiful villages by the lakes. We will also visit St.Wolfgang on Wolfgangsee. We will make a stop in Mondsee and see famous sites of The Sound of Music movie. In the evening, return to Salzburg for our last night there.
On our way to Slovenia, we will visit magnificent Hallein salt mine. It was and still is a very important salt provider for Salzburg. Our first destination in Slovenia is a beautiful lake Bled. We will explore Bled castle, island, church and Vintgar gorge. In the end, overnight in Bled.
Our daily tour starts with a visit to the valley of the river Soča. Then, we will drive over mountain Vršić to Bovec for rafting, canyoning or paragliding. We will also visit the WWI Kobarid museum and lake Bohinj in the Julian Alps. We will spend the night in Bled.
In the morning, we will visit Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. You will have a chance to explore the town and walk by the river. We will end the day with an overnight in Ljubljana.
Our first destination of the day is spectacular Postojna, the largest cave in Slovenia. Then, we will visit the charming coastal town of Piran. You will have a chance to try local seafood by the Adriatic coast. Later, we will head to Venice where we will spend the night.
In the morning you will have a chance to explore small, charming streets of Venice. Later, we will visit famous sites like St.Mark square and basilica and also Doges place. We will take a walk to the Rialto bridge and enjoy the view of the Canal Grande. In the afternoon, you can visit some of the many galleries and museums. We will spend our last night in Venice.
In the morning, you will have some free time for the final experience of the city. Then, you will be transferred to the airport and that is where our From Vienna to Venice tour ends.
