About the Tour

Day 1

Upon your arrival at Venice airport, you will meet your private guide. Then, you’ll check-in the hotel and have the rest of the day off to explore Venice yourself or to rest. We will spend the night in Venice.

Day 2

We’ll explore some of the main attractions in Venice. For example, Rialto, St.Mark’s square, Canal Grande, Dodge’s Palace and others. You’ll also have a chance to visit the islands of Murano and Burano. We’ll spend our second night in Venice.

Day 3

Our first destination of the day is Trieste that was the most important port in the time of the Habsburg Empire. There, we’ll visit the famous Piazza Unita d’Italia square. We’ll also visit the nearby castle Miramare built by Archduke Maximilian of Habsburg in 1860. Our next stop is Slovenia’s beautiful coastal town, Piran. We’ll visit the church of St.George, the Tartini square, old Townhall, and Courthouse. In the end, overnight in Piran.

Day 4

Our daily tour starts with a visit to a charming Istrian town Motovun. It is placed at the top of the hill and famous for truffles. Later, we’ll head to Plitvice Lakes, one of Croatia’s most visited UNESCO sites, where we’ll spend the night.

Day 5

Our next destination is Dubrovnik, one of the most popular towns on the Adriatic coast. We’ll make a stop in Mali Ston to try the oysters. Upon our arrival in Dubrovnik, we’ll make a sightseeing tour of the old town and the city walls. In the end, overnight in Dubrovnik.

Day 6

We’ll take a walking tour of Dubrovnik and visit some of the famous historical sites and places where the Game of Thrones was filmed. Later, we’ll visit the island of Lokrum and its monastery. We suggest you watch the sunset from the Imperial fortress. Accommodation in Dubrovnik.

Day 7

Our next stop in Dalmatia is Split, its largest city. We’ll visit the famous Diocletian’s Palace from the time of the Roman Empire. We’ll also take a walk through the old streets and Peristil. Then, we will visit the substructures, Jupiter’s Temple and other fascinating sites. In the end, Overnight in Split.

Day 8

In the morning, we’ll continue to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, and take a walk through the old town. We will also visit the Dolac farmers market, Ban Jelačić square, and other famous sites. Overnight in Zagreb.

Day 9

Our journey takes us to Slovenia where we’ll visit its capital city Ljubljana, and Postojna Cave. It is one of Slovenia’s most famous and amazing sites. Later, we’ll return to Ljubljana to explore the city and spend the night.

Day 10

Our day starts with a visit to beautiful Lake Bohinj  near the Julian Alps and a cable car ride to Vogel mountain. In the afternoon, we will head to another alpine lake, Bled. We’ll visit its small island and magnificent castle. In the end, accommodation in Bled.

Day 11

The last day of our tour starts in the Julian Alps. Mountain Vršič then takes us to the valley of the magnificent river Soča where battles were fought in WWI.  Later, we’ll visit the wine region Goriška Brda for lunch and fine wine tasting. Our Adriatic tour ends with a return to Venice.
